Principals Message

Welcome to Madeira Middle School! I am honored to be your child’s principal for this upcoming school year!  Here at Madeira Middle School, we are committed to providing our students with the most positive experience for the three years that we are lucky enough to share with them. 

Though this year will be like no other, we are prepared to walk alongside our students and their families throughout this journey.  We strive to offer both encouragement and support, while continuously presenting challenges and opportunities to promote maximum growth for each and every child.  The culture here at Madeira Middle School is centered on four principles: accountability and action; we all depend on one another, caring and making connections; we want everyone to feel welcomed, included, and valued, challenging and supporting; we are always learning, and creating and exploring; we are always seeking opportunities to grow. With these guiding principles, we are confident that we will rise to the challenge of what the 2023-24 school year may bring.

 Middle school is a time of change and growth academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.  From the ages of 10-15, children change more than any other time in their life.  Our goal is to meet each child where they are and challenge them to achieve their full academic potential and to become responsible, educated, caring, and empathetic individuals now and in the future. 

Parents, we are here to support you!  Enjoy every moment of your child’s life.  These years pass by too quickly.  We work together here at MMS to create experiences and opportunities that support our students and connect to our community.
